” I reached out to Janice after she posted an article on Irlen and I thought to myself what else do I have to lose. She did a phone interview with me first and said yes he could benefit from a screening. My son thinks the world of Janice and how she treated him like a human and the compassion she has shown him over the years. Fast forward to the present, he has graduated high school with a 75% average received his first full time job in Automotive right out of school and has just completed his first block in his apprenticeship. If it was not for Janice and all the support she has given him through his academic schooling and social events I am not sure where he would be day.
I am indebted to Janice for giving my son his life back with his diagnosis of Irlen! Thank you Janice from the bottom of my heart.”

This is where healing begins!
The moves are gentle in nature and are performed through loose clothing. It’s kind of like giving your body a boost or reset from all the stress we’ve endured over time. The human body is always searching for alignment and many times as your body is healing its found an alternative way to function. Bowenwork – goes back to the source of the onset and begins repairment. Revisiting Childhood trauma, injury, illness can be the place where we begin.

HANDLE® Provider:
HANDLE Screening
A HANDLE Screening is a brief evaluation, intended for individuals 5 years and older. We look for the presence of neurodevelopmental challenges. It is an excellent way to quickly find out what the underlying obstacles may be for mild learning and/or processing difficulties, social and behavioral difficulties, memory and attention challenges and to get help right away. Some of the systems evaluated include: auditory, vision ,including eye teaming and tracking, differentiation, balance, muscle tone, interhemispheric and sensory integration. A screening typically takes about 45 minutes.
The Screener explains the findings, teaches the activities, provides written instructions and any materials needed to go home and do the activities. The Screener may offer recommendations to reduce task and environmental demands. This part typically takes about two hours.
The Screener meets with the client again, usually in a week to ten days to watch the activities being performed, make any needed adjustments and answer any questions.
Many clients experience significant relief and improvement by implementing the screening recommendations and HANDLE Activities.

“I met Janice when I was in grade 7. My mom took me to have a screening as I was struggling in school. I was reading at a grade 3 level, and struggled in all my classes. I was very frustrated and would have melt downs during class time. When I first met Janice, I was feeling very overwhelmed, tired, anxious and had a real dislike for school. After I completed a few tests, I had a complete melt down and could not finish my session. Janice told my mom I qualified for the lenses. Janice set up an appointment for me to meet with the Diagnostician at her house. This was the beginning of a wonderful relationship with Janice over the last 6.5 years and 3 sets of Irlen tints later. Janice has always gone above and beyond in my treatments by attending school meeting with my parents on my behalf and by messaging my mom or sending me a well-done card. I contribute a part of my success through the end of elementary school, high school and the first semester of my apprenticeship in college to Janice and her diagnosis of Irlen and the support throughout the years has meant a lot to me.”
